Community Support & Volunteer Effort
This project is already being driven by passionate community collaboration. Families, coaches, local athletes, volunteers, and supporters are stepping forward to contribute labor, fundraising assistance, planning, and outreach because they believe in the positive impact this court can have for future generations.
The vision is not simply to build a sand court — it is to create a long-term community hub where keiki can learn teamwork, discipline, leadership, and confidence while representing Kona and the Big Island with pride.
Beach volleyball continues to grow nationally and throughout Hawai\u02BBi, but Kona-area youth remain underserved without a permanent sand facility. Many families currently travel long distances or rely on temporary setups that are not regulation quality or storm resilient.
